Today our UninstallGuides Team wrote this post to help you uninstall Chromium on your own Windows10, Mac and other devices/OSs. This troubleshooting guide should also work for other versions of Windows, such as 8.1, 8, and 7. To do so, please read the very specific part of this how-to. Well, can you perform the uninstall of Chromium manually? Yes, you should absolutely be able to get that stuff done. It's just yet another WARNING! Please do not continue until you have read the following sentence: to uninstall Chromium fully, you would have to deal with some critical, hidden or protected system hives (e.g., Windows' Registry Editor, Mac's Library folder). Even the smallest mistake on your side can easily damage your system irreversibly. And, if there are indeed difficult times, know that our uninstall tool PRO is already behind your annoyance, helping to keep your operating system clean and problem-free. If you do not want to risk crashing your system, you can give our professional program removal tool a try now.
On the other hand, please look carefully at any other optional programs when it comes to the below term, Possibly Unwanted Program (PUP). Because PUPs can be frequently embedded in bloated or sponsored setup files, from so-called free downloads to shareware and to adware. However, there is a simple way to keep those foistware at bay. We can’t stress that enough: slow down your mouse, or always keep an eye on your left mouse button that most starters are unaware of!

Now, you may proceed to the troubleshooting parts.
Part 1: Chromium for Windows Removal Guide.
1. To start, you exit the client completely. To do that, save your work if you're still using that undesired browser, quit the client, then run WTM to terminate all of background processes. You may refer to the following screenshot.

2. Now, head over to Control Panel if you prefer using the traditional uninstall method, click on the link "Uninstall a program" and locate the target web tool from Chromium.
3. Launch the embedded Uninstall option, or press the Enter key on your keyboard, when you're ready.

4. If you were troubled by Chromium, you, of course, can erase all of user profile/data that Chromium created: enable the extra option "Also delete your browsing data", then press the blue Uninstall button.

5. Refresh your programs/apps list - if you removed Chromium through the Apps list in Settings - afterwards.

6. Unhide all hidden protected files temporarily. Head to filesystem and/or Windows Registry and try cleaning up other leftovers that have "Chromium" as manufacturer.

Part 2 includes some fast tips you may use to rid of Chromium on your Mac:
1. We kindly suggest that you run Activity Monitor, as that app helps detect many software info that Chromium has produced on your computer. Furthermore, you may force the annoying browser to completely exit, later.

2. Typically, you need to enter the Applications folder, and move that app into Trash directly.

3. Additional actions are considered more risky and difficult. Please double-check those remains before you trash them.
