This thread helps Fix "Error: You have encountered an error. Please try again later." while trying to purchase RP for your League of Legends (LoL) account.
Below are 2 solutions you can try:
Solution 1 (may work for Internet Explorer 9 only): CHANGE PRIVACY SETTINGS TO MEDIUM IN INTERNET EXPLORER.
Note: It may be necessary to restart your League of Legends client later.
Solution 2: Back up your personal data like saved bookmarks, then RESET YOUR INTERNET EXPLORER SETTINGS TO DEFAULT.
Additionally, you may use a different credit card after resetting your IE.
Other options you may try:
1. Check if the TLS 1.0 (a security protocol) is still enabled in your IE.
For power users, supply an analysis of your network: to do this, run the analysis tool@ goo.gl/Ke51dd.
