Step 1: Download and install the Latest Viscosity install by visiting www.thesparklabs.com/downloads/Viscosity.dmg
Double Click the Viscosity dmg from your downloads folder to mount the image
Drag the Viscosity Icon to the Applications Folder to install.

Viscosity will complete it's install, if Prompted, click Install
Enter your computer Admin password to allow the Install to complete
Choose to allow it to Check for updates Automatically.
Step 2: Download and install PIA OpenVPN Configuration Files www.privateinternetaccess.com/openvpn/openvpn.zip
Locate the Viscosity icon in the Menu bar, and click on it.
Click Preferences
On the Connections screen, press the + .
Select Import Connection then From File
If you highlight the OpenVPN Folder, and press Open, this will import all regions into Viscosity.
Viscosity will confirm it will be able to import the connections. Press OK.
Using the Viscosity icon in the Menu bar, you can connect to your desired region.
PS: PPTP/L2TP/SOCKS Security
The PPTP/L2TP/SOCKS5 protocols are provided for devices lacking compatibility with the Private Internet Access application or OpenVPN protocol. PPTP/L2TP/SOCKS5 should be used for masking one's IP address, censorship circumvention, and geolocation.
If you need encryption, please use the Private Internet Application or OpenVPN protocol with our service.
On some restrictive networks, the default OpenVPN config does not connect successfully. If that happens, here are some alternate configuration files to try:
