This thread helps Fix error code 0x80070035 The network path was not found when accessing your shared folder or computer on network. Learn more?
Solution 1:
Step 1: If you're running Windows firewall and/or some 3rd-party antivirus software on the client/target machine (laptop), disable the app temporarily.
Please note that, the above action would require the admin access.
For power users, you can learn how to allow a program to communicate through Windows Firewall.
See more info@ bit.ly/2iemDDh.
Step 2: Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP.
For Windows 7 users only, try the below steps instead:
1. Open Registry Editor, export current settings; head to HKEY_LOCAL-MACHINE – SYSTEM – CuurentControlSet – Control, then click on Terminal Server, double click on AllowRemoteRPC on the right panel and change Value data 0 to 1 (select base Hexadecimal)
2. Restart all your computer.
3. uncheck "TCP/ IPv6".
4. Try connecting to the computer in network.
5. Go back to IPv6, check mark again.
6. Do the same for all computers in your network.
The Plan B is to go to “Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings” and ensure that the following items are turned on:
Network Discovery & File and printer sharing.
And the "Password protected sharing" is OFF.
Other voices:
1. Making sure all required system services are running on both machines: DNS Client, DHCP Client, Computer Browser, TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper, FDResPub, SSDP Discovery, Automatic WLAN Configuration(Vista), Wireless Zero Configuration(XP), WLAN AutoConfig(Win7).
2. Make sure Windows Firewall exceptions are enabled for File and Printer Sharing, and Network Discovery, if you met the below error as well.
3. Make sure Network Discovery is turned on.
