This vid helps Fix error code 0x87e00064 while trying to install an app on your Xbox device. Give PIA VPN@ www.privateinternetaccess.com/pages/buy-vpn/bry if your internet activities have been limited or blocked. Learn more?
Before you start, check your disk space (big enough?)
Solution 1:
If you were trying to install the app online, and the install just stopped, give PIA VPN in this video a go if your internet connection is slow or, has been blocked.
If you were trying to install the app offline, make sure there are no scratches in your disc.
Solution 2:
1. Disable the "auto-sign in" option when you're logged in.
To do that, head to Settings, Profile, and Sign-in Preferences; Select "Profile Auto Sign-in", and then enable Disable.
2. Log out your Microsoft or Live account.
3. Disable the Blu-Ray option:
Settings; Console; "Disc & Blue-Ray";
uncheck the boxes that read 'Play Disc Automatically' or 'Resume Playback'.
Additionally, in order to speed up the game installation, try the below steps:
A. Update your Xbox and, make sure it's current, always.
Press the Xbox button to open the guide;
Select Settings > All settings;
Select System > Updates;
Under Console, select Keep my console up to date
B. disconnect from Xbox Live.
You either remove the Ethernet cable from the console for wired connections or choose disconnect from Xbox Live under the console's Network settings).
C. Run the installation as normal.
D. Re-establish your connection again afterwards.
Solution 3: Back up your personal data and, perform a hard reset on your device.
To do that, hold the X light on the front of the XBOX1 for 15 seconds.
Alternatively, follow these steps:
Press the Xbox button.
Select Settings.
Select All Settings.
Select System.
Select Console info & updates.
Select Reset console.
Then you'll see three options:
Reset and remove everything. This option resets the console to factory settings. All user data, including accounts, saved games, settings, home Xbox associations, and all games and apps will be deleted. You should use this option when selling or gifting the console to someone else. You should only use this option as a last resort in some troubleshooting cases.
Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. This will save you from downloading or reinstalling the large game files. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with Reset and keep my games & apps and save Reset and remove everything as a last resort.
