( You may skip the below content and learn how to uninstall VMware Workstation manually! )
This forum thread contains clear, and easy to understand instructions on how to uninstall VMware Workstation from Windows 10. This post also contains extra tips, but has also been written in such a way so that you can remove the VMware Workstation software, thoroughly. Please complete the steps in the correct order and, please back up all of your personal stuff (e.g., documents, bookmarks, etc.) before continuing. If you're very uncomfortable making changes to your operating system manually or following the directions given blow, please STOP and run the recommended uninstall tool PRO accordingly.
In order to get rid of VMware Workstation on Windows, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Exit the app and keep/move the created snapshot(s) if you want to reuse 'em later. Furthermore, deleting some unused items would hugely increase your disk space. We kindly refer you to the below screenshot.

(Highlight any unwanted snapshot, then press the Delete button. Note that it'd take some time to complete the deletion process.)
Step 2: Uninstall the target app from your own programs list under Control Panel. Please refer to the following images.

(Optionally, you may keep VMware-related configuration files, and product registration info.)

(Hit the above Remove to proceed with the un-installation procedure.)

(We suggest you refresh the programs list to assure you've uninstalled VMware Workstation. In addition, you had better manually restart your computer to make the above changes take effect.)
Step 3: Try detecting and wiping all instances (leftovers & components) of VMware, such as installation information that has been left in file system and/or Registry Editor.
