This vid helps Fix General Error (0xE0010160) while trying to launch PTR or play some game from Battle.net. Learn more?
Solution 1:
Step 1: make sure to install the latest display driver directly from Nvidia's website. Here, we just take Intel Driver Update Utility as an example.
Additionally, for Windows 7/8 (64-bit) players, try grabbing the latest Intel HD drivers@ goo.gl/vLQ9DY "Intel® HD Graphics Driver for Windows* 7/8-64-bit".
Note: The Intel HD 3000 is the minimum requirements for the Overwatch and often will not launch the game at all. The minimum requirements listed are the Intel HD 4400 though some players have been able to play on the Intel HD 4000.
Step 2: try unplugging one of your monitors (if you're using 2 or more).
Step 3: try a Selective Startup (Closing Background Applications)
For Windows users, try the clean boot.
For Mac users, check out the Login Items under System Preferences.
When you’ve found the problematic item, contact the manufacturer for further assistance. Cuz that item interfered with your games.
Step 4: Create a new Admin ID on your computer, log off current (Admin) account, reboot and login with the new admin you just created.
Solution 2: try disabling Xbox DVR (if you're running Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (Build 16299) or Anniversary Update (Build 14393)).
To do that, Toggle "Record game clips and screenshots using Game DVR" to Off.
Other voices on the web:
1. Try running the EU version of PTR like Overwatch.
2. Back up your personal data and, go back to the previous build on Windows 10.
3. close the Blizzard Launcher. Then, delete the Battle.net and Blizzard Entertainment folders from the hidden appdata folder. And do not miss out Battle.net folder in the roaming sub-folder under the appdata folder.
Note: keep Battle.net related items under "C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local".
4. For NIVIDIA card users, try:
Open NIVIDIA Control Panel.
Go to on the left side, head to 3D settings - Manage 3D settings.
Click Global settings tab, under "Preferred graphics processor" select your own card.
5. set your computers and my games resolution to 1920 x 1080.
