1. To start, you save your work, disconnect your system from NordVPN server (by toggling the "Connect" button). Then exit the VPN agent (by launching the "Quit App" option).
2. Open Control Panel, click on the link "Uninstall a program" and locate the VPN software from NordVPN.com.
3. Launch the embedded Uninstall/Change option, or press the Enter key on your keyboard, when you're ready.
4. Apply the Yes option when the following UAC alert shows up.
5. You still need to confirm the un-installation operation by clicking on the 3rd "Remove" button below.
6. Again, tap the the option "Remove" below to proceed w/ the uninstall process.
7. Sit tight when your request is being processed.
8. Press the Finish button to exit the uninstall wizard properly.
9. Unhide all hidden protected files temporarily. Head to filesystem and/or Windows Registry and try cleaning up other leftovers that have "NordVPN" as manufacturer. One more thing, consider removing the TAP-NordVPN as well.
Part 2 includes some fast tips you may use to rid of NordVPN on your Mac:
1. Similarly, check out your menu bar and quit the unwanted VPN client.
2. Then, you need to enter the Applications folder, and move NordVPN.app into your Trash icon.
3. Additional actions are considered more risky and difficult. Please double-check those remains before you trash them.
