So... you just don't know to uninstall Opera Stable on your computer. Take it easy as that isn't a bad thing - Note that Opera or Opera Stable is NOT computer virus, thereby never bother with so-called virus removal tool on the web. Seems that the easiest way to get the thing done is perform the standard uninstall method ( I mean you may still use Windows Control Panel, or Mac's "dragging & dropping" feature. ) . But, wait, before you make further changes to your system, double check those items (remains) you find, make a backup that allows to undo your edits later. In other words, if your edits are accurate, manual uninstall won't be a problem. My point is if not, for some reason, you may send them back in no time.
If you just have no idea of what file system and/or Registry Editor is, please try using an uninstall tool PRO - it will be more than capable of sorting your trouble 3x faster! By the way, when did you last clean your hard disks?
If you're using a Windows computer, please head to the below Part 1:
1. Exit the app when ready: export all of your personal stuff, such as the saved bookmarks.

2. Run Task Manager and ensure "Opera auto-updater" is not active. If not, you need to terminate that process manually.

3. Open Control Panel, go to "Uninstall a program" and locate the unwanted browser app, then press your Enter key, or launch the Uninstall option on the programs list.

4. Here's yet another way for you to free up your disk space: enable the below option "Deleete my Opera user data". Click on the Uninstall button afterwards.

5. Then you may shut down the official product page that will open automatically. Note, again, that any improper modifications could cause a system crash.

Part 2: You may follow the below directions to rid of Opera for Mac this way. Read on...
1. Head to the Applications folder.
2. Run that unwanted app.
3. Minimize that browser. Then re-head to the Utilities sub-folder, and run Activity Monitor later. Note down all of output information (copy and paste those hives into Notes for Mac).
4. Now, quit Opera when ready.

5. Close all unrelated windows. Go back to Applications, and feel free to move Opera to Trash.

6. As usual, Mac won't even take care of app leftovers and some even won't show up on screen - they are just protected and hidden from view.

Part 3: In order to uninstall the Opera browser from your Linux, simply run Terminal and input the following command prompts:
sudo dpkg -r opera-stable
sudo rm -f /etc/apt/sources.list.d/opera-stable.list
