b. uninstall Symbaloo for Firefox:
Similarly, run your Firefox and visit the following location about:addons
Look into the "Add-ons Manager" section.
Then, you simply right-click on the target project and choose the option "Remove" on the menu afterwards.
Furthermore, head to about:preferences in your FF, remove http:// www. symbaloo .com /?referrer=softtonic&utm_source=Symbaloo&utm_medium=installer&utm_campaign=organic in the "Home Page" setting, manually.
c. get rid of Symbaloo in IE 11:
Hit the gear icon when you open IE. Choose Internet options later.
Have a closer look at the "Home page" setting under the General tab. Erase said symbaloo site above, or you replace that URL with other website you prefer.
Hit the OK button to make your changes take effect.
Now, time to restart your system and, try detecting and cleaning out Symbaloo-related traces in your O/S like the remained shortcut on your desktop. And, while uninstalling said .NET 4 would not be easy, it just worth your while getting that job done.
