This vid helps Fix error code 0xc0000185 while trying to boot or run your Windows.
Solution 1:
1. Insert a Windows 10 installation media and restart your computer. Boot from the installation media, press a key if prompted.
2. Or if you don’t have disks press F8 instead repeatedly at boot and choose "Repair your computer" then go to Step 4. Refer to the below image.
3. Choose your language and click Next.
4. Click Repair Your Computer.
5. Choose Troubleshoot.
6. Select Command Prompt.
Then type the following commands (pressing Enter after each one):
Bootrec /scanos
bootrec /fixMBR
bootrec /fixBoot
bootrec /rebuildBCD
Note: There is a space before the / .
Plan B: try the below cmd codes one by one:
diskpart
list volume
select volume 2 (volume which is labelled as ESP)
assign letter=Z
exit
bcdboot C:\windows /s Z: /f UEFI

For starters, try the Automatic Repair instead:
if you’re using Windows 7, refer to the below image instead.
If you upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, try refreshing your PC and try upgrading later. Refer to the below images.
Warning: Apps you installed from websites and DVDs will be removed. Apps that came with your PC and apps you installed from the Windows Store will be reinstalled. Windows puts a list of removed apps on your desktop after refreshing your PC.

1. replace your computer.
2. reset the computer back to its default / factory settings.
3. reset BIOS to its defaults.
