This upload contains info & tips that helps fix error code 1062 while connecting to some VyprVPN PPTP/L2TP/IPSec VPN server you chose.
This error can occur on Windows systems when connecting with the PPTP or L2TP/IPSec protocols. It is normally due to a service conflict on the local machine. Prior to troubleshooting the issue, you will need to open the Windows Services list. To view Services, press the Windows and "R" keys on your keyboard simultaneously to bring up the "Run" box. Type in services.msc and press OK. Verify the "Windows Event Log" service is started. You can see the status of any service in the "Status" column. If it is not running, right-click the entry and choose "Start." Try connecting to VyprVPN after that and if it continues to fail with the same error, proceed to step 2. Locate the services in the list below and start each of them one-by-one. If one of them shows an error when starting or starts but then stops shortly after, that is likely the culprit service. CNG Key Isolation (KEYISO) Remote Access Connection Manager (RASMAN) Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol Service (SSTPSVC) Network Store Interface Service (NSI) DHCP Client (DHCP) If you encounter the issue described in step 2, you will need to contact your computer manufacturer or IT department for further assistance with fixing that service. Alternatively, if you don't have a preference for PPTP or L2TP/IPSec, you can use the OpenVPN or Chameleon protocols we offer if your VyprVPN plan level allows it (Pro and Premier).
