This vid contains tips that help Fix NET:ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID while using Chrome to view/open 3rd-party website(s).
First of all... NEVER DO THE FOLLOWING IF YOU DO NOT TRUST THE CERTIFICATE ISSUER, OR YOU ARE NEW TO THE SITE. 1. click the little red HTTPS lock and choose the Details option.
2. Click the "View Certificate" tab in the dialog that will come up later.
3. Head to the "Details" tab in the Certificate viewer, and select the 1st or "problem" certificate, which should be from an address other than the one you were trying to get to (see the following image.) 4. Now, hit the "Export..." button and download the certificate file on your local system.
5. Then, locate the below settings in your Chrome: Settings → Advanced → Manage Certificates... → Authorities. 6. And hit the "Import..." button under the Authorities section. Select or browse to the certificate file you saved previously in Step 4, and assure all of the check boxes that appear are enabled or checked, which helps authorizes that file to certify everything as expected.
