Lots of users reported they just could not uninstall GeekTool from their macOS. Then, we reproduced the installation process: people can directly run the app when the default extraction is complete. In other words, you cannot remove the app with the traditional method (find the unwanted app in the Applications, drag the target item into Trash).
Here's how to get the job done, manually:
1. Save your job.
2. Head to Utilities folder, run Activity Monitor, note down the detected output information (as outlined/quoted below) - this helps clear those created hives (leftovers) afterwards.
3. Then you may quit the software and start clearing your Mac.
