Below are some troubleshooting methods you may try:
1. go to to steamapps -> common -> PUBG -> TslGame -> Win64 -> BattlEye, and then run "Uninstall bat" and afterwards the "Install bat". Refer to the below screenshot.
2. Check if you're using any proxy server or VPN app. If yes, turn that thing off.
3. Run Task Manager, look into the Processes tab and, locate & end a process named BEService.
4. Reboot your system and try playing your game later.
5. Head to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye, back up and delete file "BEService_h1z1.exe" later.
6. Keep your computer (operating system) up to date.
7. Click Start, and then type cmd in the Search box .
Right-click Cmd.exe under Programs, and then click Run as administrator .
At the command prompt, type the following command bcdedit / set TESTSIGNING OFF, and then press ENTER.
8. check the following list of steps:
Make sure that BEService.exe in your BE Service directory (typically it'd be located in “C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye”) is not blocked by Windows Firewall and/or any other 3rd-party firewall in any way.
Ensure that there is no d3d9.dll, dxgi.dll or dsound.dll file in your game directory. If there is one please back up, then remove/rename it.
Ensure that you have a legitimate copy of Windows.
Check if your game directory’s file permissions are broken or incomplete by doing the following: Right-click on your game directory (in Windows Explorer), select “Properties” and go to the “Security” tab. In the group/user list select the “SYSTEM” entry and check if it has full access. Otherwise click “Edit…” and assure the “SYSTEM” user has the full access.
Your system’s root certificates might be broken/corrupted. To fix them download and install the update as the admin user@ goo.gl/BYqipr "An update is available that enables administrators to update trusted and disallowed CTLs in disconnected environments in Windows".
Check your system files for potential corruptions by reading below 2 Microsoft guides: goo.gl/KPi3Nk "Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files" & goo.gl/9GyZqg "Fix Windows Update errors by using the DISM or System Update Readiness tool".
