This demo contains info that helps fix Email Error 550 while trying to send an e-mail using Microsoft Outlook or Windows Mail with some Norton product installed (e.g., Norton 360).
Info 1: It seems likely that your email service provider's antispam filtering is blocking the message you are trying to forward. That really isn't unusual - your forwarded message is being blocked at the email server because it looks suspicious (which, of course it is!). You could probably forward the message as an attachment (workaround), if you wished.
Info 2: This message indicates that a mail server rejected the email you have sent from the computer.
If you see the message even though you do not send any email, your computer may be infected. Then check/scan your system for potential threats using an up-to-date Norton Security.
If you see this message only when you send an email, it indicates one of the following:
That there is a problem with your computer's email settings.
That the connection between your computer and your Internet service provider was broken/blocked before the email was completely sent. It does not mean that there is a problem with your Norton program. Given one of the recommended VPN apps in our channel.
And... Contact your Internet service provider to correct the settings.
Your Norton product includes Email Protection. Email Protection is an extra layer of protection that scans the incoming and the outgoing email. To do this job, Email Protection is placed between your email program and the ISP. If the ISP rejects an outgoing email immediately, your Norton product carries the message. But the message is really from the ISP.
