Solution 1: Give the latest version of Google Chrome Canary a go.

Moreover, if your GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) Driver date listed in Chrome:gpu is old or out-dated, see if just updating it fixes the thing.
Solution 4:
1. Ensure you've restarted your device/computer after you install Chrome update.
2. Check if the issue is persisting on a different browser as well.
3. Check if the issue is specific to some or only one website or any other website that you're trying to access on Chrome.
4. Check if the issue persists on incognito mode (Ctrl+Shift+N) as well.
If it works smoothly, we'd suggest you disable the extensions temporarily (you could use chrome://extensions/ on the Chrome address bar) and re-enable them one at a time to determine which extension is misbehaving.
5. Log out your Google Account and check if the issue continues.

In the Mac menu bar at the top of the screen, click Go.
Select Go to Folder.
Enter the following directory@ ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/ in the text field, then press Enter.
Locate the folder called "Default" in the directory window that opens and rename it as "Backup default."
Try opening Google Chrome again.
